Like many members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I cherish temple attendance. It's sacred time that deserves focus and reverence. But when my husband lost his job and money was tight, I needed a temple dress I could afford.

I found one online — modest, white, and reasonably priced. The photos looked fine. But when it arrived and I put it on, the fabric was completely see-through. I wore it anyway, and spent the entire temple session distracted, uncomfortable, and self-conscious. In a place meant for peace and worship, I was worried about my clothing.

That experience shouldn't happen to anyone.

I realized I couldn't be the only Latter-day Saint woman struggling to find temple dresses that were both modest and affordable. So I took a leap of faith and started ZMCI: Zion's Millennium Clothing Initiative.

Our mission is simple but meaningful:

First, you should never have to choose between style and your standards. I grew tired of finding beautiful dresses online, only to discover they wouldn't properly cover garments. Now I do that work for you. Every piece in our collection is carefully curated for modesty, quality, and faith — so you can shop with confidence.

Second, beautiful, well-made temple dresses should be accessible to every family. I source high-quality modest clothing with that goal in mind, so you can walk into the temple feeling your best, without the financial stress.

We're a small, Utah-based team, and serving this community is personal to us.
