Why I started ZMCI
Hi there, I’m Kendra, the founder of ZMCI. Opening this little shop has been a lifelong dream, but ZMCI grew from something even more personal: my love for the temple and the sacred moments we prepare for there.
When I received my own endowment, I remember not knowing where to begin—especially when it came to finding a temple dress that felt beautiful, meaningful, and worth investing in.
My hope is that ZMCI feels like a place where you can feel excited for your temple journey. Whether you’re choosing your first temple dress, building a modest wardrobe, or preparing for a once-in-a-lifetime moment, I’m so glad you’re here.

What is the return policy?
Most items can be returned or exchanged within 14 days if they’re unworn, unwashed, and have tags attached. Sale items are final sale. If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 3 days. Check our Refund Policy for full details.
Are any purchases final sale?
Graphic apparel and all sale items are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, or store credit. The only exception is sale temple dresses, which may be exchanged for another size if the dress is unworn, in original condition, and the requested size is available.
When will I get my order?
Most orders ship within 2–5 business days and typically arrive within 10–14 business days, depending on your location and the item type. You’ll receive tracking by email, and some orders may arrive in separate packages.
How much does shipping cost?
We currently ship within the U.S. only. Orders $75 and over ship free. Smaller orders are charged the live USPS or UPS rate calculated at checkout based on your address.
Will you restock an item?
Many of our pieces are limited runs, so some styles may not return once they sell out. If you love something that’s out of stock, use our contact form or email us and we’ll let you know if a restock is planned.
