Hi there, I’m Kendra, the founder of ZMCI. Opening my own little shop has been a lifelong dream, but even more than that, I’ve always felt deeply about how sacred and special a trip to the temple is. I have had so many personal experiences and testimonies rooted in the temple, and I wanted to create something that honored that.

When I first received my endowment, I honestly had no idea where to start looking for a temple dress. Deseret Book felt like the obvious choice, but I quickly realized there were other beautiful, unique designs out there—pieces that felt special enough to invest in for all of those sacred, once‑in‑a‑lifetime moments. At the same time, I found myself frustrated trying to find clothing that both felt stylish and properly worked with garments.
